This neighbourhood is quaint, cozy and evermore-appealing as time passes. It boasts Victorian-style homes in abundance. Many streets are now dubbed heritage sites thanks to development stretching as far back as two centuries ago. Cabbagetown narrowly missed complete destruction which would have marked the teardown of North America’s largest stretch of Victoria style homes. Thankfully, plans were squashed and history is well preserved in this highly sought after neighbourhood for everyone to enjoy. Homes aren’t the only attraction in the area, family friendly Riverdale Farms is located at the core and Cabbagetown hosts one of the best Farmer’s Markets in Toronto.
